Costa Rica is the World Sea Fishing Capital!

Two coasts – the Caribbean and the Pacific can meet any desire of a sea fishing fan. Almost the whole list of marine predators can be found in the coastal waters here: marlins of three types, sailfish, roosterfish, tuna, mackerels, jacks, dorado, wahoo, barracudas, a lot of bottom fish species, sharks – in the Pacific Ocean, tarpons and snooks – in the Caribbean.

You can fish for the tarpon and Gar, as well as for the Guapote, Machaca, Mojarra, trout, Roncador and other exotic species in the rivers.
We have high fishing season almost all the year round, as we fish exactly in the places where the fish is now. We are constantly changing our fishing spots. If is necessary we can go 100 miles away from the shore. That is why, we are quite skeptical about season charts which are created by those who always fish in the same fishing spot.

The main factor determining the success of fishing is people, to be more precise, captains and instructors. We managed to create three wonderful teams in Costa Rica. Each of them is the best in its region. Our captain in the Pacific Ocean has registered 250 IGFA world records and has been awarded the title of IGFA WORLD’S BEST CAPTAIN AND GUIDE twice.
The captain with whom we fish for the tarpon in the Caribbean is the best in Costa Rica and is well known far beyond its borders. It is not by chance that he wins national championships almost every year. We always fish together in the Caribbean, we negotiate with him the area of our future fishing beforehand and choose the basing place depending upon the current situation.

For the fishing in the rivers we have an excellent guide who can arrange fishing aimed at any fish species chosen by the client. What is more, he is equally good at spinning fishing as well as at fly fishing.

If you wish to participate in the international fishing championships held in Costa Rica, we are willing to arrange a trip for you, prepare the documents necessary for the participation and find an excellent boat with a professional crew. Here is the schedule of the most interesting Championships:

1. February. Quepos Bill Fish Cup. A separate championship and at the same time it is a qualifying stage of the World Cup. The team which wins will be able to take part in the World Cup in April.
2. March. WBS World championship. A prestigious team championship with good prizes (up to 75 000$).

3. April. The most prestigious Offshore World Championship will be held in Costa Rica again! To participate in it you have to take a prize at the qualifying stage in February. 65 countries will take part in the championship.
Our skippers take prizes in these or other fishing tournaments every year.

There are a lot of fishing lodges in Costa Rica which are working with a large number of clients. But, unfortunately, as a rule, out of 10 skippers in such a lodge there are only 2 good skippers, 3 – average and 5 – no skippers at all. We sometimes use such lodges for accommodation, but never order fishing there.
So, we would kindly ask you not to compare our programs with any others of the same kind. As we work for the result and fish with the best skippers only.
